How to obtain a Nickel card?
With this new card, you can pay at all online merchants. It is a card that is increasingly sought after for the many services offered. It is easy to use and remains a modern card. It also helps to check your Nickel account. To obtain this card, you can do so via your postal address by going to the customer area of this online bank. Additionally, this card can be ordered from the mobile app available on Android and iPhone. It can also be requested at tobacconists who are partners of the bank. You will, however, need to validate your phone number, email address, and postal address before your request is accepted.

Steps to activate the new Nickel card
The activation of this card will begin with logging into your customer area. After that, you will go to the Card section and select the option “I activate my card.” You will then be prompted to enter your identifier, which will consist of 10 digits. Similarly, you will need to enter the access code of your old card. This is your 6-digit code. Afterwards, you will click on “validate.” After that, you must provide the security code that the neobank will send you via SMS and validate it again to finalize the activation of your new Nickel card.
Moreover, it may happen that you forget or lose your old identifier. In this case, you can inquire by sending IDENTIFIANT via SMS to 06 33 13 48 64 if you are in the DOM TOM. If you are in mainland France, you will send it to 38063. Once done, you will receive the identifier via SMS or email.

Other important information about card activation
After the new card is activated, the other one will no longer be useful, and it would be best to destroy it. Once the activation is successful, you will receive the new secret code via regular messaging. The contactless card sent to you here comes with an identifier on its back.
Thanks to this identifier, you will be able to access your customer area. However, when the card does not activate, you will receive a security code from Nickel via SMS. If you do not receive this code, then check again the number you provided. It may be incorrect. In this case, you will just need to modify it to resolve the situation.
